The "Kuzmina's News" raspberry variety is distinguished by its early ripening period; fruits are ready for harvest from mid-to-late June. Berries have a rich ruby-dark red color, an elongated shape with a blunt end, and weigh 3-4 grams. They possess a tart-sweet dessert taste with a pronounced raspberry aroma, juicy and firm flesh that does not crumble. Berries detach easily from the pedicel and do not drop from the canes, which facilitates harvest collection. One bush can yield 1.5 to 2 kg of raspberries, and to increase yield, it is recommended to plant another variety nearby for cross-pollination. "Kuzmina's News" raspberry bushes are tall and spreading, reaching a height of up to 2.5-2.8 meters. Stems are upright, segmented, and drooping, with purple thorns located mainly in the lower part of the branches, closer to the ground. Young one-year-old canes are light green, turning grayish on the second year. Young bushes produce up to 15-20 new canes per square meter, although with age, the ability to form new canes decreases. The variety is resistant to various climatic conditions but requires regular watering and winter covering to maintain health and fruiting. For sapling transport, a special root treatment with a solution is used, which helps retain moisture and ensures reliable packaging, allowing planting material to remain in good condition for over a week. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, "Kuzmina's News" raspberry is an excellent choice for growing in a garden and obtaining an early harvest of tasty and aromatic berries.
