Syaivo

The 'Siaivo' raspberry variety is a remontant type with tall bushes reaching 1 to 1.2 meters in height. All branches of this variety are completely thornless, which simplifies care and harvesting. However, to prevent branches from drooping under the weight of berries, they need to be supported. The variety begins fruiting in the first decade of August, and fruiting continues until frost, ensuring a prolonged harvest period. The autumn yield from one bush ranges from 2.5 to 3 kg of berries.

The berries of 'Siaivo' raspberry are large, round-conical in shape, with a bright red color and distinctive gloss. The average weight of a berry is 4-4.5 grams, with a maximum weight reaching 7.2 grams, and on amateur gardeners' plots — up to 10-13 grams. The flesh is firm, aromatic, with a tart-sweet flavor, making the berries versatile for various uses: fresh consumption, compotes, jams, juices, tinctures, and liqueurs.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought resistance, resistance to viral and fungal diseases, and good transportability of berries. For successful cultivation of 'Siaivo' raspberry, it is recommended to choose sunny sites, which promote better growth and fruit quality.
