Description
The CRONA variety has been included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements since 1989 and is recommended for cultivation in several regions, including the Central and Volga-Vyatka. Rye is characterized by a medium-late maturity period with a vegetative period of 330 to 340 days, as well as enhanced winter hardiness, close to the Vyatka 2 variety. Stem height reaches 157 cm, which contributes to good plant development and crop formation.
CRONA is distinguished by high yield and resistance to a number of diseases, in particular, powdery mildew. However, the variety is susceptible to stem and brown rust. The plant has a deep root system, which ensures good drought resistance and allows successful cultivation of rye under conditions of insufficient moisture. These characteristics make the CRONA variety a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and quality harvest.
