LSR 5001

LSR 5001 is a first-generation spring rye (Secale cereale L.) hybrid characterized by a tall and semi-erect bush. The plant has a colored coleoptile and medium stem pubescence under the ear. Waxy coating on the ear is moderate, while on the flag leaf sheath it is strong. The leaf following the flag leaf has medium length. The ear is semi-erect, long, and dense, with dark coloring of the aleurone layer. The grain is of medium size, with a mass of 1000 grains ranging from 30-33 grams. The hybrid differs in high yield, reaching 16.2 centners per hectare in the Urals region and 54.6 centners per hectare in the East Siberian region. The vegetation period varies from 72 to 96 days, allowing this variety to be used in various climatic conditions. LSR 5001 is resistant to lodging, shedding, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in complex agro-climatic zones. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and adaptability, LSR 5001 is suitable for cultivation in regions with different soil and climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields.
