Camelina sativa L. (Sunflower False Flax) – an oilseed variety with low plant height of 50–60 cm and attachment of the lower branch at 15–20 cm. Seeds are colored with reddish-brown shades, 1000-seed mass is 1.3 g, and oil content is 44.3 %. The vegetative period lasts 74 days.

Seed yield ranges from 7.1 to 9.3 c/ha, while green mass yield reaches 8.7–12.3 t/ha. Erucic acid content in seeds is 2.97 %. The recommended sowing rate for planting is 10–12 kg/ha with a burial depth of 2–3 cm; sowing method – continuous with a row spacing of 15 cm.

The variety is distinguished by resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, as well as to pests and main diseases of cruciferous crops. Under wet weather conditions during the full ripening phase, pod rot may occur, however, this does not reduce overall productivity and seed quality.
