Sorghum 400X82 is a medium-maturing silage hybrid of the Sudan type, intended for producing high-quality feed in various forms such as silage, haylage, and pellets. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to abnormal drought, allowing it to maintain stable yields and nutritional properties of feed even under insufficient moisture. The vegetation period is 90-100 days, and plant height varies from 220 to 300 cm, ensuring a significant biomass volume for animal feeding.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases and stress factors, including lodging, helminthosporiosis, fusarium, false powdery mildew, and mold, with resistance ratings of 8 to 9 points. Thanks to this, sorghum 400X82 demonstrates reliability under adverse climatic conditions and reduces the risk of yield losses. The tillering coefficient is 3-5, which promotes good regrowth and formation of dense green mass.

In addition, this hybrid belongs to the "sterile" type, partially forms grain, which allows the plant to remain young and productive throughout the season. The potential silage yield reaches 80-100 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers focused on feed production and alternative energy.
