ALBANUS

ALBANUS — this is a sorghum grain hybrid from the company Euralis, characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The hybrid features stable yield and can effectively develop even in drought-prone areas, making it a reliable choice for Ukrainian farmers. Early maturity and European type of action allow ALBANUS to consistently show high performance under any weather conditions.

Plants reach a height of about 115 cm, have a dense panicle 30 cm long and white grain color. The 1000-seed weight is 30 g, indicating good quality seed material. Protein content in the grain reaches 9.1%, and starch — 65.3%, making the hybrid valuable for grain use. ALBANUS is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and fusarium, as well as tolerance to various stress factors, ensuring stable yield.

Recommended sowing rate varies depending on moisture conditions: from 160 to 350 thousand seeds per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe.
