ANGGY

ANGGY sorghum is a mid-season hybrid of grain sorghum with high yield potential, developed by the French company R.a.g.t. Semences. Plants reach a height of 110-130 cm and are characterized by rapid early growth, high adaptability, and stability across different growing zones. The vegetative period is approximately 125 days, ensuring timely grain maturation. Plants productively tiller, forming about three stems, and the 1000-grain weight is 31-32 grams.

The grain of the ANGGY variety is large, red, and practically free of tannin (less than 0.1%), which improves its nutritional quality. The grain contains approximately 70% starch and 13% protein, making it valuable for both feed and food purposes. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to drought, lodging, fusarium, and other diseases, contributing to stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. The recommended seeding rate varies by region and ranges from 120,000 to 210,000 seeds per hectare.

ANGGY responds well to improved agronomic practices and high fertility, allowing yields of up to 12 tons per hectare. Seeds are treated with the fungicide "Maxim XL" and the antidote "Concept III," providing disease protection and enhancing germination. Seed quality meets national standards (DSTU 2240-93), confirming their high quality and reliability for agricultural production.
