ARALDO

Cereal Sorghum ARALDO® is a mid-early hybrid developed primarily for feed production. This variety is distinguished by its high adaptability to various climatic conditions, including arid regions, ensuring stable and high yields. The plant is low-growing, with little to no anthocyanin pigmentation in seedlings, which facilitates its cultivation and harvesting. The panicle is ear-like, approximately 31 cm long; the grain is white, round with an elliptical profile, and has a balanced texture—half vitreous, half floury.

ARALDO® is characterized by high yield potential, with average grain yields reaching 21.8 c/ha, which is 14.7% higher than standard indicators. The weight of 1000 grains varies from 28 to 34 grams, indicating the grain's size and quality. The variety exhibits a pronounced "Stay-green" effect, ensuring prolonged retention of green mass and resistance to apical sterility. Furthermore, the hybrid demonstrates good resistance to diseases such as Fusarium and stem anthracnose, enhancing its reliability in production.

For successful cultivation of ARALDO®, it is recommended to adhere to sowing rates depending on moisture conditions: 120,000-140,000 seeds per hectare in arid areas up to 240,000 seeds with irrigation. Sowing depth is 2-4 cm, and the optimal soil temperature for sowing is above 12°C. The grain contains a high amount of starch (79%) and protein (over 11%), while tannin content is very low, making it particularly valuable for feed production and promising for use in the food industry and bioenergy.
