The variety is distinguished by high productivity in both green mass and grain, with an average yield of green mass of about 27.5 tons per hectare. The feeding quality of Leggoo is high: crude protein content reaches 8.1%, fiber content — 20–29%, and total sugar — 15.6%. The variety shows good drought resistance but is sensitive to moisture and prefers a high agroclimatic background. Leggoo seeds are used for cultivating grain sorghum, widely used in agriculture for both grain and feed purposes. Seed weight is approximately 0.025 grams, size — 2–3 mm. The plant grows well on fertile soils and prefers sunny locations, showing shade tolerance. The root system is deep, reaching up to 2.5 meters, which contributes to drought resistance. The recommended planting distance between plants is about 30 cm. Leggoo is suitable for processing grain into grit and flour, while green mass is used as animal feed, and straw — as fuel. When cultivating, it is important to maintain a balanced fertilizer regime, as excessive nitrogen fertilizers may lead to fungal diseases caused by Fusarium or Macrophomina.
