The yield of mature grain at standard moisture levels reaches 2.4-3.2 tons per hectare, while cultivation for silage yields 18.7-22.8 tons of green mass per hectare. The dry matter content in silage varies from 4.33 to 6.64 tons per hectare, ensuring high nutritional value of the feed. Plants reach a height of 177-214 cm, which contributes to good green mass development and facilitates mechanized harvesting. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 30.7-33.2 grams, while the mass of the head with grain is 31.7-35.2 grams. The grain contains 8.6-9.0% protein, 63.2-66.5% starch, and 1.9-2.4% fat, ensuring high energy value. The stem juice is distinguished by high sugar content — 14.7-15.8%, which positively affects taste and digestibility of the feed.

Growing sorghum MOMENT requires adherence to agronomic rules, including soil preparation, weed elimination, and timely fertilizer application. Sowing is conducted at a soil temperature of not less than 12°C at a depth of 2-4 cm, while sowing density is selected based on growing conditions and variety characteristics. To protect plants from weeds, mechanical and chemical methods are used, including herbicide control. An important stage is protection against diseases and stress factors, which contributes to stable yield and product quality.
