Hybrid grain sorghum «Slavyanskoe Pole 207» is a mid-season culture with high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The plant is of medium height with a symmetrical panicle of medium length and density; the ears are rhombic in shape with reddish-brown glumes. The grain has a narrowly elliptical or elliptical shape, orange-red in color, with a semistarchy endosperm. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 21.3 to 39.2 grams. The hybrid is characterized by weak anthocyanin pigmentation of shoots and stigmas, as well as high resistance to lodging and drought, ensuring a stable yield under various climatic conditions. In terms of biochemical composition, sorghum grain «Slavyanskoe Pole 207» is comparable to corn, and even exceeds it in amino acid content. This makes the culture a valuable component in feeding livestock, poultry, and fish. The hybrid yield reaches 70 centners per hectare on dryland and up to 120 centners on irrigated land, which significantly exceeds regional averages. Hybrid sorghum has a high content of vitamins, amino acids, and trace elements, including lysine and carnitine, which contributes to improved livestock productivity. Use of «Slavyanskoe Pole 207» in feeding rations increases egg production in chickens and promotes weight gain in pigs, making it an indispensable grain component in animal husbandry.
