Plants of this variety are tall, with dark green leaves and a symmetrical, erect panicle of medium density. Ears are oval with long awn scales that turn black at maturity. The grain is narrowly elliptical, orange in color, with a semi-glassy endosperm. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 22.1 to 29 grams, ensuring good density and crop quality.
