Bohemians

Bohemians soybean variety is a determinate, super-early maturing type with intensive growth and high yield potential, reaching 40-44 c/ha. Plants have a height of 82 to 120 cm, form a strong biomass and are characterized by a semi-shrub form. The variety is distinguished by early sowing and early maturity, allowing it to be effectively utilized in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe and Steppe, including irrigated lands.

Bohemians has a high protein content (up to 40%) and oil (20.8-22%), making it in demand for production of soy products such as tofu and beverages. Seeds have a thousand-grain mass within 215-225 g, and seeding rate is 650-700 thousand seeds per hectare. The variety tolerates dense sowing and late sowing, demonstrating excellent resistance to lodging, shattering, drought, as well as to main diseases, including phytophthora and white mold.

Bohemians was developed by traditional selection methods without GMO and adapted to modern cultivation technologies, including No-till system. Optimal row spacing for sowing varies from 18 to 35 cm, ensuring high plant density and maximum productivity. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to stress factors, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality soybean yields.
