DARJA GU

DARJA GU soybean is a mid-early determinate variety with a vegetative period of about 112 days. The plant is short, compact in shape, with reddish-brown pubescence and purple flowers. Seeds are elongated-flattened, yellow in color with a black hilum and eye; the mass of 1000 seeds varies from 138.2 to 174.7 g. The height of the lower pod attachment ranges from 10 to 18 cm, and the intensity of brown pod coloration is moderate. Lateral leaflets are oval-shaped, light green, and of medium size.

The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to unfavorable conditions. Average seed yield in various regions ranges from 14.6 to 15.0 c/ha, with maximum figures reaching 27.3-30.0 c/ha in individual farms. Protein content in seeds varies from 35.5% to 39.9%, and fat content from 19.8% to 21.7%. The variety is resistant to lodging and shattering, as well as not susceptible to disease damage under field conditions, making it a reliable choice for cultivation.
