Description
The Dauria soybean variety is an early-maturing indeterminate variety with a semi-compact plant form and gray pubescence. Plants are characterized by a lower pod attachment height of 13.0-14.5 cm, while lateral leaflets have an oval shape, medium size, and green coloration. The flowers are purple, and the pods are light brown with gray pubescence. The seeds are spherical-flattened, yellow in color with a yellow hilum, with a mass of 1000 seeds reaching up to 211.8 g. Plant height varies from 75 to 85 cm.
The growing season of the variety ranges from 92 to 110 days, making it early-maturing. Seed yield reaches 19.1-21.1 c/ha, with a maximum registered yield of 37.4 c/ha. Protein content in seeds ranges from 37.5% to 43%, and oil content is from 21.7% to 23.9%, making this variety valuable for producing protein and oil products. The variety is resistant to lodging and shattering, which helps preserve the crop.
DAURIA is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests: during testing years, it was not affected by ascochytosis, and damage from codling moth was minimal. Additionally, the variety shows resistance to false powdery mildew, stem canker, and gray mold, and tolerates stress factors well. These qualities make it a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions, including the Far East, Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga.
