Maxus

Maxus soybean variety is a mid-late maturing variety developed in 2015 for grain use. It is characterized by high yield, reaching 50-60 c/ha, and resistance to adverse climatic conditions, including drought, cold, humidity, and temperature fluctuations. The vegetative period is 100-110 days, and plant height ranges from 85 to 115 cm. The flowers are purple, and the pods are light yellow, with lower pods located at a height of 15-17 cm, facilitating technical harvest.

The Maxus variety is characterized by high protein content (41-46%) and oil content (up to 41-21%), making it attractive for industrial use. It is resistant to diseases and pests, has high plasticity, and adapts well to various soil-climatic conditions, as confirmed by cultivation recommendations in various regions of Ukraine, such as Polissia, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.

To enhance cultivation efficiency, it is recommended to inoculate seeds to stimulate nitrogen fixation and use herbicide technologies, particularly glyphosate-based ones, with emphasis on weed control and adherence to optimal sowing dates depending on climatic conditions. Maxus soybean is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields under diverse conditions.
