RGT SFORZA

Soybean variety RGT SFORZA is an early-maturing variety with a vegetative period of about 110 days, registered in the State Register for the North Caucasus region in 2019. Plants are indeterminate type, medium height about 72 cm, with purple flowers and yellow seeds with dark-brown hilum. The 1000-seed mass is 153 grams, indicating the variety's large-seeded nature. The lower pod attachment height is at 10 cm, and the hypocotyl has anthocyanin pigmentation, which is a characteristic feature of this variety. The main stem hairs are reddish-brown, and the lateral leaflets have an acute-oval shape.

The variety is characterized by high yield: average yield in the region is 16.6 c/ha, with a maximum of 32.8 c/ha recorded at Ust-Labinsk GSA in Krasnodar Krai in 2017. Protein content in the seeds reaches 42.62%, and oil content is 19.6%, making this variety particularly attractive for oilseed use. High protein and oil content provide high-quality raw material for processing and food industries.

RGT SFORZA exhibits good resistance to various adverse factors, including drought and diseases, as confirmed by resistance ratings to wilting, lodging, and major diseases at levels of 7-9 points. Recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. The variety is suitable for both grain and oilseed uses, making it a versatile choice for farmers seeking high and stable yields of quality soybeans.
