Description
Soya variety Slavia is a mid-early indeterminate variety with a vegetation period ranging from 95 to 108 days. Plants reach a height of 110 to 125 cm, featuring medium-sized elongated yellow seeds with a yellow hilum, weighing between 133.9 and 174.5 g. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance and can withstand short-term frost down to -4.5 to -5.0 °C, expanding its cultivation potential across various climatic conditions.
Slavia is noted for its high yield, reaching up to 3.6 tons per hectare, and high seed oil content of approximately 22%, with a protein content in seeds of 43%. The variety is resistant to major diseases such as downy mildew, stem cancer, and grey mold, ensuring stability and quality harvest. Thanks to these properties, it is suitable for cultivation in both main and repeat sowings, as well as in short-term crop rotations.
The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions of Russia, as well as in Belarus. The optimal sowing rate is 60–70 kg per hectare. Universal usage and high productivity make Slavia an attractive choice for agricultural enterprises focused on obtaining high-quality and stable soybean yields.
