The growing season ranges from 100 to 120 days, allowing flexibility in sowing dates based on regional climatic conditions. The lower pod attachment height is 12–14 cm, a critical metric for reducing harvest losses during mechanized harvesting. Minimizing losses at the low cutting height directly impacts the total economic efficiency per hectare.

Phytosanitary Potential

The engineering approach to plant protection in the Vitalina variety is built on high natural resistance to a key complex of pathogens. The variety shows resilience against:

• Ashy stem blight;
• Downy mildew (Peronosporosis);
• Septoria leaf spot;
• Bacteriosis.

These properties allow for reduced fungicide application rates, which is essential for farms aiming to optimize input costs. Comprehensive resistance against fusarium, ascochyta, and powdery mildew ensures the preservation of the stand even under unfavorable temperature conditions during the grain-filling period.

The variety demonstrates stable quality indicators valued by processors. The oil content varies within 21–22%, while the protein content reaches 35–37%. This chemical composition ensures stable demand for commercial grain in the oilseed market.
