BTS SMART 2020

BTS SMART 2020 — a modern sugar beet hybrid developed for cultivation using the Conviso® Smart technology. It is characterized by high resistance to Fusarium root rots and powdery mildew, as well as basic resistance to cercosporosis and downy mildew. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits moderate resistance to anthracnose root rots, ensuring reliable plant protection under various soil-climatic conditions. In 2020, BTS SMART 2020 was included in the State Register of Selection Achievements Approved for Use, confirming its quality and effectiveness.

This hybrid features a wide-conical root shape that is fully buried in the soil, which helps protect it from damage and improves crop quality. It is a medium-height plant with a single-stemmed diploid type, with a medium vegetation period of approximately 140 days, making it suitable for mid- to late harvest dates. In cultivation regions such as the North Caucasus, BTS SMART 2020 demonstrates high root yield and sugar content, making it advantageous for sugar production.
