Description
The Rezimax sugar beet hybrid is a single-seed diploid hybrid on a sterile NE-type base, intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Ural, and West Siberian regions. This mid-season, high-yielding variety is characterized by high sugar content — 18.9% — and significant root yield, reaching 364.3 centners per hectare. Rezimax exhibits resistance to powdery mildew, root rot, and root maggots, ensuring reliable and stable yields.
Sugar beet Rezimax is a warm-loving and heat-tolerant crop, optimally developing at 20-22°C, but capable of effective photosynthesis even at temperatures above 40°C. The plant requires adequate moisture, particularly during the intensive root growth period in July-August. Thanks to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from depths up to 2.5 meters, the hybrid tolerates drought well. Seeds germinate within a wide temperature range from +4 to +17°C, with emergence time depending on temperature. During the pre-harvest period, the crop withstands frost down to -5°C without damaging sugar accumulation.
The plant features a medium-sized, dark green leaf rosette and an oval-conical root shape, with the root penetrating soil to 85%. The hybrid is resistant to drought, cold snaps, diseases, and lodging, and possesses good storability, making it suitable for medium-term harvesting. These qualities make Rezimax a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sugar beet yields.
