Sunflower Cherry is a high-oleic mid-early hybrid developed by the French company Laboulet using Clearfield technology, providing resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lightning. The vegetation period ranges from 107 to 119 days, depending on growing conditions. The hybrid is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 48-55%, with oleic acid content up to 88%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil. The yield potential is up to 5.0 t/ha, with an average yield in the Central Chernozem region reaching 33.5 c/ha, with maximum yields up to 45.6 c/ha.

Sunflower Cherry plants have high height — about 175-180 cm, green leaf coloration, and medium pubescence. Flowers are yellow, branching is absent, and seeds are characterized by weak marginal stripes. The hybrid demonstrates good resistance to stress factors, including drought, heat, and cold, as well as to diseases and weeds, thanks to Clearfield technology. Recommended seeding density varies depending on soil moisture: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture and 50-55 thousand in drier regions.
