Description
Sunflower Nadezhda is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetative period of 105-110 days. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a strong stem and large head, contributing to high yield. The hybrid features rapid development and the ability to suppress weeds, as well as high responsiveness to fertilizers and irrigation, enabling maximum potential under optimal cultivation conditions.
The oil content of the variety is 49-52%, and the maximum yield reaches 49.5 centners per hectare, corresponding to a potential of approximately 5 tons per hectare. Nadezhda is characterized by high resistance to diseases, including Phomopsis, white and gray mold, as well as to Sclerotinia (races A-E). These traits make the hybrid stable and adaptable, capable of successful cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions.
The hybrid is versatile and recommended for cultivation in regions such as the North Caucasus, Central Chernozem, Lower Volga, Middle Volga, and Ural. The optimal planting density at harvest time is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 50-55 thousand in less well-watered zones. Nadezhda is an example of stability and high productivity among early-maturing sunflower varieties.
