This hybrid is specifically engineered for the Clearfield production system, ensuring full compatibility with imidazolinone-based herbicides (Euro-Lightning).

Phytopathological protection as a cornerstone of yield

The breeding program focused on strengthening the genetic immune system against the most aggressive pathogens capable of reducing yields by 30–50%:

• Peronosporosis: The hybrid possesses resistance to a wide range of downy mildew races, which is critical for humid regions.
• Phomopsis and Phoma: Targeted breeding for resistance to these fungal diseases allows the plant to maintain stem integrity and optimal photosynthesis until harvest.

The technical value of this hybrid lies in its ability to withstand herbicide stress without entering a growth suppression phase. The application of Euro-Lightning allows for the elimination of most broadleaf and grass weeds in a single pass, including problematic species like broomrape.
