Sunflower "Reson" is a mid-season classic hybrid with medium-height plants and no branching. Leaves are light green, medium-sized with slight blistering, and the upper part of the stem is covered with strong hairs. Flowers have bright coloring: ligulate yellow, narrowly egg-shaped, tubular orange without anthocyanic staining of the stigma. The flower head is medium-sized, turned downward on a curved stem, slightly concave on the seed side. Seeds are medium-sized, narrowly egg-shaped, predominantly black without distinct stripes. The hybrid is characterized by high yield: the average yield in the region is 22.4 centners per hectare, 8.5% higher than the standard, with maximum yield reaching 31.7 centners per hectare. Oil content in the seeds reaches 50.1%, ensuring oil harvest at 11.0 centners per hectare, exceeding standard indicators. "Reson" is resistant to Striga species A-E and shows high tolerance to diseases such as Phomopsis, white and gray rot. This sunflower hybrid exhibits high drought and heat resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. It is well-suited for zero-tillage and minimum tillage technologies, as well as late sowing and use on fallow plantings. Additionally, "Reson" demonstrates good resistance to seed shattering, contributing to yield retention and increased production efficiency.
