Suntec HO CL

Suntec HO CL is a medium-height hybrid with plant height ranging from 155 to 165 cm and vegetation period from 105 to 120 days, corresponding to the medium-maturing group. It is characterized by high yield, reaching 26.8 to 42.3 centners per hectare, and a harvest density of 50–60 thousand plants per hectare. The seed head is strongly convex with a semi-penetrating form, and the 1000-seed mass is 65–70 grams. Seed coat shedding is about 27%, and protein content reaches 17.5%.

One of the key features of Suntec HO CL is its high oil content — from 46 to 51% — with oleic acid content reaching up to 90%, making it particularly valuable for producing high-quality oil. The hybrid demonstrates excellent heat and drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation under challenging climatic conditions. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, reducing losses during harvest.

Suntec HO CL also features high resistance to several diseases, including sclerotinia, frogeye leaf spot, gray mold, and powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to downy mildew and rust. These characteristics ensure stable yields and reduce the need for intensive plant protection.
