Vokil

Vokil sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with a maturity period of 108-112 days, offering an optimal balance of growth speed and yield. Medium-height plants (about 170 cm) feature semi-tilted heads with a diameter of 16-19 cm, facilitating harvesting. The hybrid exhibits rapid initial growth and high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones.

One of the key features of Vokil is its high resistance to diseases and pests. The hybrid shows resistance to six races of the parasitic weed downy mildew (A-F), as well as high resistance to lodging, stem breakage, drought, and heat tolerance. Additionally, the sunflower is resistant to diseases such as root, stem, leaf, and head sclerotinia, frogeye leaf spot, powdery mildew, gray mold, and fusarium, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.

In terms of yield and seed quality, the Vokil hybrid features high oil content (approximately 50%), a 1000-seed weight of about 66 g, and good oil content, making it attractive for technical use. The seeds have medium moisture loss and optimal leaf size, promoting efficient photosynthesis and plant development. The recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring a stable and high yield when agronomic requirements are met.
