XILO / KSILO

XILO sunflower is a mid-early linoleic hybrid developed for cultivation under the Clearfield Plus system. This hybrid features stable yield and high oil content in seeds, reaching 53-55%. Plant height ranges from 160 to 200 cm, and flower head diameter is 17 to 25 cm, ensuring good productivity and ease of harvest. XILO is recommended for cultivation in all soil-climate zones, including Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесье. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to downy mildew (volchak) A-E and major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, phomoz, black rust, gray and white rot, and verticillium wilt. Thanks to these traits, XILO demonstrates resistance to lodging and shattering, helping preserve yield and reduce losses during harvest. Rapid moisture release from flower heads at maturity allows timely harvesting and reduces the risk of seed spoilage. Recommended seeding rate depends on moisture conditions: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand under sufficient moisture. The hybrid is drought-tolerant and suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. XILO's yield potential exceeds 6 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for agricultural enterprises aiming to obtain high and stable sunflower yields with high oil content.
