ZL 42 A is a medium-early sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation on various soil types, especially in forest-steppe zones and areas with insufficient moisture. The vegetative period lasts from 100 to 107 days, with a seedling-to-flowering phase lasting 59-64 days. Plants reach a height of 170-185 cm and feature a convex head diameter of 18-21 cm in a semi-drooping position. The hybrid is characterized by uniform seedlings, high drought tolerance, and resistance to lodging, ensuring a stable yield potential of up to 55 c/ha and an average yield of 39-42 c/ha over the test years.
