MAMUCAR

Mamuchar is a type of winter triticale (X Triticosecale Wittm. ex A. Camus) intended for grain and grain-forage use. Plants of this variety have medium height, varying from 70 to 127 cm, with lodging resistance from medium to high. The ear of Mamuchar is cylindrical or pyramidal, of medium length, dense and fully awned, with white or slightly colored coloring. The grain is of medium size, oval-elongated or semi-elongated, light red or red in color. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 34.0 to 47.2 g, which indicates good grain coarseness.

The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 222 to 292 days, with late or medium heading time. The winter hardiness of Mamuchar is at the level of standard indicators, which ensures its reliable overwintering in growing regions. The average grain yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 36.0-47.5 c/ha, which makes this variety promising for agricultural production.

The variety is distinguished by resistance to main diseases, including brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew and septoria, while damage under field conditions remains low or medium.
