Key parts are easy to access, and the bearings hold up well if you stick to the greasing schedule. The metal is thick and repair-friendly; any local welder can fix wear-and-tear issues in just a few hours without needing specialized OEM parts.

Field performance tips

• Power requirements: Do not attempt to pull this with an underpowered tractor. You need at least 80–90 hp to handle it properly in heavier soils without lugging the engine.
• Fuel economy: When run at the correct speed and depth, fuel consumption is predictable. Pushing it too hard or using too much ballast will hurt your bottom line.
• Operator comfort: All adjustments are manual screw-types. It takes time and a wrench set to get it right initially, but once locked in, it stays precise for the rest of the shift without shifting or slop.

The unit hates excessive speed. If you try to push it too fast, the ground-engaging components begin to bounce, and the depth consistency disappears. Keep it within the recommended operational range, and it will run reliably throughout the season.
