Ambassador

Ambassador pea is a medium-maturing, shelling variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of 56-66 days. The plant has stems 75-80 cm long with ordinary green leaves covered in a waxy coating. Pods at technical maturity are green, 7-8 cm long, with 7-8 seeds, which possess excellent taste and dietary qualities. Unlike some other varieties, Ambassador pods may contain a parchment layer, and the peas at technical maturity differ in dark green color and strong seed wrinkling.

This pea variety is distinguished by synchronized ripening and high yields reaching 56-82 centners per hectare, which corresponds to the Adagumsky standard level. The height of attachment of lower pods varies from 33 to 53 cm, making the plant convenient for mechanized harvesting.
