The plant is characterized by low growth and absence of fasciation, with green leaves and a lower pod attachment height of about 54 cm. Pods are green with a color intensity ranging from medium to dark, 7-8 cm in length and 1.2 cm in width, containing 7-8 seeds per pod. The average weight of one pod is 5.2 g, while the weight of 1000 grains in fresh form reaches 351 g. The commercial yield of green peas reaches 85 c/ha, making the variety attractive for cultivation both for fresh consumption and canning. The Madison variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, which ensures crop stability and reduces the need for frequent application of protective agents. Peas withstand transportation and long-term storage well, maintaining their marketable appearance and possessing excellent taste.
