VORONEZH YUBILEYNY

VORONEZH YUBILEYNY is a pea variety characterized by a medium-late maturation period with a vegetative period from 42 to 108 days depending on growing conditions. Plants are semi-dwarf, 50 to 110 cm tall, with dark green stems, sometimes covered with a waxy bloom, and hairless. Pods are shelling, predominantly with an acute or blunt tip, green in color, containing 8-10 seeds with emerald-green peas, possessing a delicate sweet taste and high protein content - up to 27.9%. Flowers are white, seeds are round with yellow cotyledons and a light hilum. The variety differs in synchronous fruit maturation and good taste qualities both in fresh and after canning and freezing. Yield varies from 0.4 to 1.2 kg per square meter, corresponding to average regional indicators. Plants require support and prefer sunny plots with sowing at a depth of 4-6 cm according to the 15x30 cm scheme. The variety is resistant to lodging and drought at a medium level, possesses increased resistance to seed shattering, however, is susceptible to some diseases, such as ascochitosis and fusarium root rots. VORONEZH YUBILEYNY is recommended for growing in various regions of Russia, including Northwestern, Central and Volga-Vyatsk. Thanks to its qualities and adaptability, it is widely used for consumption in fresh form, as well as for industrial canning and freezing. This variety combines high nutritional value, ease of cultivation and good agronomic characteristics, which makes it an attractive choice for gardeners and agricultural producers.
