Amitus aleurolobi

As a beneficial biological control agent, it plays a vital role in regulating populations of whitefly species, most notably Aleurolobus marlatti, which is a notorious pest in citrus orchards and ornamental plant nurseries.

The host range of Amitus aleurolobi is quite specific, focusing primarily on the nymphal stages of whiteflies.
