Antheraea mylitta, commonly referred to as the Indian tussar moth, belongs to the family Saturniidae (order Lepidoptera). The host range of this insect includes various tree species, with a particular affinity for members of the Fagaceae family, such as Quercus (oak), as well as Terminalia and Shorea species.
