  • Implementing crop rotation to break the pest's life cycle.
  • Sanitation measures, including the removal of debris and weed hosts.
  • Deep tillage in the autumn to expose overwintering stages to cold and predators.

  • Judicious use of systemic insecticides only when economic thresholds are reached.

Before implementing control measures against lady beetles, agronomists should verify the species' feeding habits.
