Cryptophlebia encarpa, commonly referred to as the Macadamia nut borer, is a destructive moth species within the family Tortricidae. The primary host crops susceptible to this pest include macadamia and cacao. The larvae bore into the fruit shortly after hatching, feeding on the developing kernels and internal tissue.
