The genus Ctenopseustis is a significant member of the family Tortricidae, commonly known as leafroller moths. These insects are recognized as major pests in horticultural sectors, particularly in New Zealand, where their larvae cause substantial economic damage by feeding on foliage and fruit in a wide array of host plants.
