The webbing coneworm (Dioryctria disclusa) is a moth species belonging to the Pyralidae family. It is a significant pest primarily affecting various species of pine trees, causing severe damage to cones and reducing the availability of viable seeds in natural stands and seed orchards.

The host range of this insect includes several species of pine. The damage is exclusively caused by the larval stage, which feeds internally on the cones. The economic impact is felt most strongly in silviculture, as the loss of seeds directly hinders the regeneration of coniferous forests.

The life cycle typically spans one year. The larvae overwinter in hibernacula under bark scales or in other crevices on the tree trunk.
