The willow leafroller moth (Epinotia solicilana) is a specialized insect pest belonging to the order Lepidoptera and the family Tortricidae. This species is primarily associated with various willow (Salix) species, where it spends the majority of its life cycle interacting with the foliage of its host plant.

The pest causes damage primarily during its larval stage. The caterpillars feed on the leaves, spinning them into tight rolls or clusters with silk threads. These nests provide both a primary food source and a sheltered environment that protects the larvae from predators, parasitic wasps, and harsh weather conditions.
