The Poplar moth (Gluphisia septentrionis) is a moth species of the family Notodontidae. It is recognized as a specific defoliator that predominantly targets deciduous trees, causing significant concern in forestry and urban landscaping due to its feeding habits on particular host species.
The primary hosts for the larvae of this species are trees belonging to the genera Populus (poplar) and Salix (willow).
