The cream-streaked lady beetle (Harmonia quadripunctata) is a member of the Coccinellidae family within the order Coleoptera. While many lady beetles are beneficial predators, this particular species has been noted for its association with coniferous host plants, raising concerns in forestry and ornamental plantations regarding its feeding habits.

The primary hosts for this species include various coniferous trees, specifically pine (Pinus) and spruce (Picea) species. The beetles and their larvae tend to congregate on young shoots and needles.
