Description
The genus Lacon belongs to the family Elateridae, commonly known as click beetles. These insects are significant agricultural pests primarily due to their larvae, known as wireworms, which live in the soil and feed on the underground parts of various cultivated and wild plants.
Wireworms of the Lacon genus are notorious for their polyphagous feeding habits.
