Oligota

Oligota (Oligota minuta) is a small insect belonging to the order Coleoptera and the family Staphylinidae. While many members of this family are known as predatory beetles, specific representatives of the genus Oligota require careful monitoring in agricultural environments due to their potential impact on crop health and development.

This pest is commonly associated with moist organic matter and decaying plant debris. In intensive farming systems, particularly in greenhouses, Oligota can colonize vegetable and ornamental crops.
