Description

Orthaga is a genus of moths belonging to the family Pyralidae. Known primarily for their role as agricultural pests, these insects are distributed across various tropical and temperate regions, where their larval stages can cause significant damage to foliage and hinder plant growth.

The host range of Orthaga includes several commercially important fruit-bearing trees and various ornamental species.
