The apple brown tortrix (Pandemis heparana) is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. It is a significant agricultural pest that affects a variety of fruit-bearing trees and shrubs throughout the Palearctic region, causing economic losses by damaging blossoms, leaves, and developing fruits.

This species is highly polyphagous, meaning it feeds on a wide range of host plants. Primary targets include rosaceous plants such as apple, pear, plum, cherry, and apricot. Beyond orchards, it is frequently found on forest trees like willow, alder, and oak, which act as secondary reservoirs for the population.

The biology of Pandemis heparana involves a multi-stage life cycle: egg, larva (caterpillar), pupa, and adult.
