The Grape berry moth (Paralobesia viteana) is a member of the Tortricidae family within the order Lepidoptera. It is a significant pest primarily known for affecting viticulture, causing major economic losses by damaging fruit development directly within the clusters.
The host range is largely restricted to plants within the Vitis genus. Larvae are the primary destructive stage, feeding on flower clusters and developing berries, which leads to direct fruit loss and decreased quality of the final harvest.
