Parasitus mammillatus is a mite species belonging to the family Parasitidae and the order Mesostigmata. The life cycle of the mite consists of egg, larva, two nymphal stages (protonymph and deutonymph), and the adult phase. These mites thrive in moist, nutrient-rich soil substrates.
